Parish of Our Lady of Kirkstall - Finance and Property Committee
Canon Law requires that a Finance and Property Committee assist the Parish Priest fulfil his responsibilities in the sound management of the material resources of the Parish within the Catholic Family of the Diocese. Each of the three constituent Church Communities - the Holy Name of Jesus, the Assumption of Our Lady, and of St Mary’s (Horsforth) - will have representation on this Committee whose members should have the pertinent professional/technical skills and experience. Offers to serve on the Committee should be made to the Parish Priest who will determine the appropriate membership.
Financial statement for Year ended 31 March 2011
Overall it's been an encouraging first year for the new parish of OLK. The high levels of repair costs are due to necessary works at all three of our churches, including roofing work at St. Mary's church and Holy Name church hall. It is hoped that offertory levels will be maintained for the forseeable future
