DIOCESE OF LEEDS FOUNDATION DIRECTOR VACANCIES:  Vacancies exist for Foundation Directors to serve on Multi Academy Trust Boards within the Diocese. The Trust boards have responsibility for the education provision and strategic direction of schools within its area. This is a voluntary unpaid role requiring a time commitment of 6-10 hours per month, usually in the evenings with occasional daytime meetings. Training will be provided. ADORATION CHAPEL AT LEEDS TRINITY UNIVERSITY: We are hoping to set up an adoration chapel at Leeds Trinity University (Horsforth, which would operate from 7:30am till 10:30pm every day (apart from certain holidays when the University closes). In order to make this project a reality we are going to need a lot of volunteers in order to make sure the hours are covered and that Our Lord is not left alone. Please would you consider giving an hour of your time a week to adore the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. MISSION WEEK - "THE REALITY IS CHRIST": It is now well over a year since Bishop Marcus provided a stable home for the Extraordinary Form of the Mass at St Joseph's in Bradford. To celebrate this and give a good start to Lent, Fr Michael Hall will be preaching a mission on the evenings of the 19th - 23rd February.  Entitled "The Reality is Christ", the Mission will consider meeting Our Lord in the seven sacraments. Mass will be offered each evening.  Tuesday will be the normal parish in the Ordinary Form, but the others will be Low Masses according to the Extraordinary Form, apart from Thursday (the Feast of St Peter's Chair) which will be a full Solemn Mass. Confessions will be available each evening. It is fitting that this should be the traditional "Ember Week", when we are encouraged to fan into flame the gift that is in us. 7pm, St Joseph's Pakington Street, Bradford. All are welcome

World Apostolate of Fatima Membership requirements: The minimum requirement for becoming a member of the WAF is to make a Pledge in which one promises: 1. To offer up every day the sacrifices demanded by one’s daily duty through the faithful observance of God’s law; 2. To say five decades of the Rosary daily while meditating on the mysteries; 3. To wear the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel as a sign and reminder of personal consecration to Our Lady and her Immaculate Heart; 4. On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to confess and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep company with Our Lady for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.
